RARE longines Handwinding Round Square Case -around 1940s
Longines was founded in Saint-Imier in 1832 by Auguste Agassiz, a Swiss watchmaker and brother of biologist Louis Agassiz. Auguste had two partners, lawyers Henri Raiguel and Florian Morel; the company's original name was Raiguel Jeune & Cie.
This rare example is dated around 1940s , This rare case round and square is really uncommon to see.The watch has a beautifull dial with the 12 -3 and 9 aplied numbers ,in generall the condition is pristine . the 14 K Gold massiv Case has been polished before but still in really good condition . One of the most important aspects are , the Bezel still have the original Black color on it. Rare watch to see at this days. We are happy to offer you this watch with the Original Longines Box .
The diameter of the watch is around 30 mm from side to side.The watch comes with a Casa Pieper new Leather Strap, in vintage look.
